Student Liu Junjian and many classmates thanked their teachers and worked with designers to renovate this "gardener's" home.
Understand the physical and mental needs and create an aging-friendly living space
In order to solve these problems that threaten safety and affect the living experience, designer Yu Haoling started from Teacher Li’s habits and needs and added many necessary aging-friendly facilities. By laying floor heating and assembling phase change materials, the passive energy consumption of the house can be reduced, and the house can be moisture-proof and insulated in a green and environmentally friendly way, taking into account the elderly's concerns about the waste of water and electricity, and meeting the elderly's expectations for a serious life.
In order to prevent indoor dampness, the designer used fully covered stainless steel windows and sloped countertops to solve the problems of alkali return, peeling, and water vapor entering the room, creating a dry and comfortable living space for Teacher Li. Care for the elderly living alone lies in transforming indoor spaces that meet their physical and psychological needs from the perspective of the elderly.
Four separate bathrooms, using intelligence to care for the elderly living alone
Considering that Mr. Li lives alone most of the time, the designer merged and expanded the original two bathrooms into one, creating a four-separate bathroom for a Chinese-style family, and added Mr. Li’s favorite footbath space and other designs. , providing Teacher Li with a more comfortable, durable, safe and convenient bathroom life.
In terms of products, the designer chose Hengjie’s star product Q9 smart toilet, as well as Hengjie wood alloy bathroom cabinets, safety handrails, single-handle dual-control concealed basin faucets, Xinyi T8 showerheads, multi-functional mirror cabinets, A complete set of bathroom products such as Yueyan smart mirrors are used to renovate the bathroom space of the elderly. Ordinary bathroom mirrors tend to collect water vapor, but the designer chose a smart mirror that can automatically defog, which not only reminds the time and temperature, but also improves the brightness of the overall space; the design of the magnifying round mirror is also very popular among Li Teacher's love. In addition, it is also equipped with a pull-out faucet, so that the elderly can wash in place from all angles without having to bend down, which is always considerate and makes life more calm.
