In the 2021 Guangzhou Design Week, Mati’s booth was personally designed by Master Zeng Jianlong of GID Gray Dragon International Design Co., Ltd. The booth is themed “Borderless” and aims to interpret the borderless experience of living space.
The design is not limited to cliché style labels. It is inspired by the architecture of the "Roman Colosseum" and is enclosed into different areas at different heights. It integrates the display of Mr. Matti's slate door and wall products and the Mengye·M series. , Dragon Series 2.0, Digital Age Series and other products.
A set of alternating and ambiguous relationships is constructed between various visible and invisible spaces. It will bring a multi-dimensional product experience that is more forward-looking in art and technology to the audience at the scene.
At the same time, as soon as Mati's new species - door and wall high-end products were unveiled at the booth, it attracted many inquiries and experiences from design enthusiasts. Everyone stopped to take photos, and the exhibition hall instantly caused quite a sensation.

New species unveiled
On the morning of December 9, the press conference of Mati’s new species—Mr. Mati’s door wall haute couture came to a successful conclusion at Guangzhou Design Week.
Ou Tiancheng, co-founder of Mati Ceramics, elaborated on the relationship between doors and walls in his speech. Based on the trend brought about by "integrated aesthetics", he further dissected the concept of "Mr. Mati Door Wall Haute Couture" Brand new species.
Breaking the application boundaries of ceramic tiles and looking for new material application scenarios - "Mr. Matti Door and Wall High Customization" brings more possibilities to modern living spaces.
Meng Ye·M series released
On the same day, Mati Ceramics held a grand "Meng Ye·M Series Press Conference" in the forum area of the exhibition hall in front of the 400,000+ visitors of Guangzhou Design Week. The famous designer Meng was also invited to attend this event as a guest.
Teacher Meng Ye shared the whole process of cooperation with Matti and the original intention of creating the product. Later, under the witness of the audience and the media, Teacher Meng Ye and the group’s Director Xian, Matti Liang Weiquan, Ou Tiancheng, and Ouyang Gangjin jointly Taking off the curtain and leaving the golden name, the five parties joined forces to announce the "Mati Tile Master Customized Mengye·M Series";'s official release.
2021 Mr. Design Annual Love Ceremony
In 2021, Guangzhou Design Week will join forces with its chief charity partner Mati Ceramics, and many charity ambassadors and charity envoys to participate in charity activities as "Mr. Design" and use images to record and act with love Promote designers’ social responsibility practices.
On the evening of December 11, Mr. Design’s 2021 Love Ceremony was held at the Rosewood Hotel in Guangzhou. The ceremony used special honors to reward charity envoys and love through annual love ambassador sharing and award ceremonies. Ambassador, convey the love and concern of design to society wider and further.
Mr. Liang Weiquan said, "This year, Mr. Designer and the charity ambassadors have traveled to many places, seen the smiling faces of many children, and also brought enlightenment aesthetic education courses to local children. In the future, , we hope that more ambassadors of love will join us to participate in this public welfare activity in the design industry and experience the value of design to people’s livelihood! ”
Design Creates Value Annual Elite Awards
On December 10, the 2021 Design Creation Value Annual Elite Awards Ceremony was held at Guangzhou Design Week. The event commends elite designers who have driven industrial upgrading and development with conceptual innovation, shaped innovative development models for the country's creative industries, and established "model projects" for the leap-forward development of Chinese design. Medals were awarded on site.
The selection of "Elite Figures Creating Value by Design" was initiated by Guangzhou Design Week in 2016, aiming to inject new designs into society.concepts, new values, and new cultural concepts, enhance the value of people’s livelihood, increase the value of commercial brands, and contribute to the value of urban development.
