Project 2: Guangzhou Hepburn Bar
The Hepburn bar design has long been admired by many designers. Mr. Chen Wu even won the 2018 FRAME Awaeds award sponsored by the world's leading authoritative professional design media "FRAME" magazine for his outstanding work "Guangzhou Hepburn". It is reported that there are 5 projects from Australia, Sweden and other countries shortlisted for this competition, including Flaggerdoot, PMclub, Shelter, and Hilma.AR OF THE YEAR category and won the award, among which "Guangzhou Hepburn Bar" was the only Chinese project nominated for the award.
It is worth noting that this is the second time that Mr. Chen Wu won the German iF Design Award (one of the three major design awards in the world), the French Double-faced God Award "GPDP AWARD" International Design Award (the highest honor in the European design industry), the gold medal, Another international heavyweight award after the British Andrew Martin (the "Oscar" in the design world), multiple honors and multiple praises, it also reaffirmed Mr. Chen Wu's achievements in the field of Asian entertainment and cultural space design from the perspective of authoritative professional fields. Guangzhou Hepburn Bar is located on the Pearl River in Guangzhou, backed by commercial buildings, and its commercial value is self-evident. The 1,100-square-meter entertainment space is said to have cost 80 million, making it the first space-themed bar in China.
Aerial video combined with mobile stage machinery, designer Chen Wu uses technology to enhance users' sense of interaction, allowing consumers to truly feel the charm of the "future" and stimulating different entertainment experiences.
Instead of the classic black, white and gray tones, Hepburn used a large area of cosmic blue and space white. Mr. Chen Wu injected a pioneering concept of technology, machinery and futurity into Hepburn Bar, and used cool light and shadow and large screens Differentiate each functional area to make people feel like they are in a Hollywood blockbuster with 5D effect, or appear in the universe.
Guangzhou Hepburn is extremely picky when it comes to detail processing. The numbers and letters appearing on the background wall make people feel that time and space are confused. This kind of entertainment space is simply cool.
Project 3: NINE PLUS, New York, USA
Appearance
NINE PLUS in New York, USA, covers an area of 1,100 square meters and is the benchmark for New York nightlife., also subverted the closed space system of traditional KTV, integrating technology, fantasy and novelty, becoming New York's high-end limited edition KTV in one fell swoop.
Lobby
Dark black color, fashion trend, technological elements, NINE PLUS did not choose bright and warm colors, but chose the dark black style with exaggerated, asymmetrical, peculiar art forms, preference for extended lines, and the main tone of the design style is more nightclub wind.
Aisle
The designer got creative inspiration from the "9plus" Logo prototype, and derived the use of folded lines and tough elements on the walls, floor, and ceiling, which also redefined the three-dimensional principle of "brand, quality, and taste."
There are 20 private rooms in the entire KTV. Xinye Group jumped out of the original design limitations and rethought the possibilities and maximum values of space.
It is designed to meet people of different ages, different visual preferences, and different entertainment needs. Space elements, technological elements, radioactive lines, toughness and other elements were added to the design of small rooms, large rooms and VIP private rooms respectively.
Each private room is like a perfect work of art, full of thoughts and life. It's like the Milky Way, winding away, ruthless and endless, all showing the mysterious and noble unique temperament of New York NINE PLUS KTV.
