Since the beginning of this year, ceramic tile sales across the country have been booming, but after June, the situation plummeted. At the same time, raw material prices have not stopped rising, and natural gas prices have recently started a new round of "skyrocketing storm."
Among them, production areas such as Guangdong and Jiangxi have exceeded the 4 yuan/m³ mark, with the highest increase exceeding 60% compared with the beginning of the year.
Due to the skyrocketing prices of coal, natural gas and other fuels and chemical raw materials, the ceramic industry has once again attracted the attention of CCTV.
On July 30, CCTV Finance's "Zhengdian Finance" broadcast a news article titled "Fuel prices have risen sharply, some building ceramics companies may reduce production and suspend kilns." It mentioned that the increase in coal prices was compared with the same period last year. There is a 70% growth, and some areas have even doubled.
"Ceramic Information" learned from Guangdong, Jiangxi, Shandong and other production areas that according to usual practice, gas prices are usually low in summer, but this year's gas prices are much higher than the same period in previous years. There is no doubt that the country's large-scale "coal Since the "gas change", "the gas price in summer has been the most expensive in history".
It goes up every three days!
Natural gas prices “take off” again
On July 30, the gas supply unit of Shahu Ceramics Industrial Park in Enping, Guangdong issued a price adjustment notice: the unit price of natural gas supplied to enterprises in the park was adjusted to 3.95 yuan/m³. The price of natural gas in Hengpi, another ceramic industrial park in Enping, is almost consistent with this.
On July 31, the person in charge of a ceramics factory in Hengpi told "Ceramic Information" helplessly, "Now, our factory uses natural gas of 3.95 yuan/m³, which is an increase of 50% compared with the beginning of the year."
On the same day, insiders from a ceramics factory in Shahu revealed that gas prices are continuing to rise and are likely to rise to more than 4 yuan/m³.
Both Enping's two major industrial parks use LNG for centralized gas supply, and the gas price fell back to 2.45 yuan/m³ at the beginning of the year. "After the beginning of the new year, the price of 2.45 yuan lasted for less than a month, and then it continued to rise."
Only 3 days later, on August 2, the gas supply unit of Shahu Ceramics Industrial Park issued another price adjustment notice: As the LNG market listing prices at major terminals in South China increased significantly by 500 yuan/ton on August 1, the unit price of natural gas Adjusted to 4.3 yuan/m³.
In other words, Enping natural gas prices have increased by more than 75% in the past six months. In fact, not only Enping, "Ceramic Information" learned that in addition to Sichuan where it originated, Liaoning Faku, which has sufficient supply of Russian gas, and Fujian, natural gas prices in other regions have also hit new highs this year, and in the past month Gas prices have once again shown a sharp rise.
Gas prices in Foshan, Guangdong have been relatively stable. Before July, the pipeline gas price was roughly 2.45 yuan/m³, but it has been raised twice in a row in the past month, and the current gas price has reached 3.15 yuan/m³.
In Zhaoqing, Guangdong, pipeline gas prices have risen to 3.95 yuan/m³. A person in charge of a ceramics factory revealed that the price of LNG at the factory immediately rose to 5,700 yuan/ton on August 1, which is equivalent to more than 4 yuan/m³.
According to the long-term agreement price, the pipeline gas in Yuantan Park in Qingyuan, Guangdong should remain around 2.55 yuan/year throughout the year, but it is also facing price increases.
The current gas price of Heyun Park, which uses LNG, has reached 3.4 yuan/m³. For ceramic companies not in the ceramic park, the highest LNG price has soared to 4.26 yuan/m³.
There are not many natural gas tile companies in Jiangxi. Before May, the price of natural gas was about 2.3 yuan/m³, which rose to 3.78 yuan/m³ in late June. It has now been raised to 4.3 yuan/m³.
Shandong Province has also adjusted natural gas prices since July 1, but the increase is smaller, at 0.15 yuan/m³. It is reported that the current natural gas price in Zibo, Shandong is 2.7-2.8 yuan/m³, and that in Linyi is 2.65-2.7 yuan/m³.
Gas prices skyrocketed!
The fuel cost of a single line increases by tens of thousands of yuan every day
According to "Ceramic Information", since the end of the heating season last year, the natural gas prices of various ceramic enterprises in Zibo have been reduced to varying degrees: the gas price of various ceramic enterprises in Zhangdian District has been reduced from the original 3.2 yuan/m³ to 2.64 yuan. /m³, while the price of most ceramic companies in Zibo Jian Ceramics Industrial Park has dropped to 2.55 yuan/m³ per cubic meter, and the gas price of each ceramic company in Ririshun Jianceramics Industrial Park has dropped to 2.53 yuan/m³.
Today, judging from the price adjustment notice issued by the gas company, the gas price of various ceramic companies in Zibo has basically increased by 0.15 yuan per cubic meter. likeBased on the standard that Zibo ceramic enterprises consume approximately 1.7-2 cubic meters of natural gas for each square meter of ceramic tiles produced, a production line with a daily output of 20,000 square meters will increase costs by at least 0.51-0.6 million yuan per day.
Compared with ceramic enterprises in Zibo, Shandong, the growth rate in Guangdong's Enping production area is "astonishing".
As the above-mentioned insider from Enpingshahu said, the gas price of his ceramics factory at the beginning of this year was about 2.45 yuan/m³, and now it has risen to 4.3 yuan/m³, an increase of 1.85 yuan/m³.
Based on the calculation standard that the natural gas energy consumption of an 800×800mm glazed brick kiln is between 1.6 and 1.8m³/square meter. If the daily output of a single line is 20,000 square meters, then the production line will have to increase by 6 to 600 square meters per day. The fuel cost is about 70,000 yuan, which is equivalent to the additional fuel cost of a ceramic tile production kiln of up to 3 to 3.5 yuan per square meter.
It is worth mentioning that the current coal price has also been rising. "Ceramic Information" learned from many companies in Guangdong that the current coal price in Guangdong has exceeded 1,300 yuan/ton, hitting new highs repeatedly.
Gas and coal prices are abnormal
The rising momentum has not stopped yet
According to the law of natural gas fluctuations, every summer is the lowest peak of gas prices in the year. Last summer, the gas price in the above-mentioned areas was only about 2.3 yuan/m³, but this year it is far higher than last year's winter gas shortage.
Regarding the rise in gas prices, the reason given by Enping Gas Supply Unit in July was that the LNG market prices at major terminals in South China continued to rise. The terminals even made three adjustments within a week, and there have been four increases this month. In addition, the inventory levels of some receiving stations in the region are medium and low. The Zhuhai Jinwan Sinopec Beihai and Shenzhen Dapeng receiving stations have limited shipments. The market supply and demand have tightened. In addition, the increase in East China sea gas has boosted the demand, which has been affected by the pressure of import costs. Air end price.
On August 1st, it was raised again. From July 23rd to August 1st, the delivery price increased to 1,400 yuan/ton, which is roughly equivalent to 1 yuan/m³, and the delivery price in September will also be Keep rising.
"Ceramic Information" learned from a number of gas supply companies that due to the uncertain global situation, the current natural gas transactions are greatly affected.
“We don’t dare to supply ceramic factories now because the risk is too great.” A business person from a gas company that built its own LNG station to supply natural gas revealed. Taking Enping as an example, the arrival price increased by 700 yuan/ton within 10 days. At the end of July, it had reached 5,300-5,400 yuan/ton, which is equivalent to 3.8-3.9 yuan/m³. "If you add 2 cents to the ceramics factory, it will be more than 4 yuan."
Although the current coal and gas prices have hit a record high for the same period in history, ceramic manufacturers and gas companies are not optimistic about future price trends, and the upward trend has not slowed down.
